- Rubber weatherstripping is installed around the door frame and around the interior glass frame.
- Door sweep is installed underneath the door.
- Up and down extension ball latches are installed on all doors.
- On the lower half of the window, there is a small decline for water to run-off.
- All doors come with an American-sized deadbolt lock.

Your door is an investment that you’ll use on a daily basis, so we’ve created some techy and practical add-ons to further enhance our product experience and efficiency. Options are available on custom orders only, for an additional fee.
Privacy Smart Glass
Now you can choose to enjoy your view or enable complete privacy with just the flick of a wall switch or press of a button via the wireless remote. In less than 0.1 second, switchable privacy glass transforms from clear to opaque. An included remote control allows you to adjust the opacity of your smart glass for complete control over your view.
A film of polymer-dispensed liquid crystals is placed between two panes of glass to create privacy glass. When a small amount of electricity is passed through this film when the power is turned on, polymer dispensed liquid crystals align, enabling light to flow through and giving the appearance of transparency to the glass.
When the electricity is turned off, these polymer-dispensed liquid crystal molecules relax into a random orientation. This scatters and diffuses the light that passes through the window creating an opaque view with privacy, while also allowing light to enter the room.
To ensure reliable and consistent performance, each unit undergoes a thorough set of quality inspections, including intensive automated electrical tests. StonehengeUS Privacy smart glass also allows for up to 99.5% protection from UV rays.
Thermal Break
All StonehengeUS Wrought Iron Doors are designed with polyurethane foam insulation inside the door slab and frame to help combat heat transfer. Additionally, we offer an available “thermal break” option on our custom order doors which include additional ABS material that splits (or creates a break) in the metal materials to help prevent cold/heat transferring inside/outside the home. Thermal break doors are more energy efficient and are ideal for homes with higher
than normal humidity.
