Kings Building Material is looking for energetic, motivated people to join our team in customer service and sales.
We currently have multiple schedule options available, making this a good opportunity for someone looking for either part-time work or a full-time career.

Schedule Options

We are open to discussing several different schedules:

  • Part-Time: A few days per week
  • Full-Time – 5 Days: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (45 hours/week)
  • Full-Time – 6 Days: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM plus Saturday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM (50 hours/week)
  • We can discuss the schedule that works best for the right candidate.

    Compensation$20/hour + Sales Commission

    In addition to hourly pay, employees earn commission on their sales.

    Full-time employees working over 40 hours also receive applicable overtime pay.

    What You’ll Do

  • Assist homeowners, contractors and builders with product selection

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service

  • Enter and manage customer orders in our computer system

  • Sell masonry, hardscape and outdoor building materials

  • Learn our major product lines, colors and applications

  • Follow up with customers and develop repeat business

  • Build relationships with local contractors and customers

  • Help customers put together complete material orders

    What We’re Looking For
    Strong communication and people skills
    Energetic, dependable and motivated
    Comfortable working with customers
    Willing and able to learn new products and computer systems
    Sales or customer-service experience preferred
    Building-material or construction experience is a plus, but not required

    Training Provided

    You do not need to already know masonry or hardscape products.

    We will train the right person on our computer system and product lines, including pavers, retaining walls, stone, brick, porcelain and other building materials.
