Thanks to advanced proprietary technology, this single-grade membrane can be used in horizontal as well as vertical applications, maximizing versatility. Planiseal CR1 can be applied by roller, brush, trowel or squeegee.
MAPELASTIC AQUADEFENSE
Premium Waterproofing and Crack-Isolation Membrane
Mapelastic AquaDefense is a premixed, advanced liquid-rubber, extremely quick-drying waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane for installation under ceramic tile or stone in residential, commercial and industrial environments. Mapelastic AquaDefense provides a thin, continuous barrier to protect adjacent rooms and floors below from water damage. For common problem areas like coves, corners, cracks and drains, it can be combined with MAPEI’s optional Reinforcing Fabric or Mapeband™ accessories (cove roll and drain flash) to provide additional protection. Mapelastic AquaDefense dries after about 30 to 50 minutes and is then ready to receive any MAPEI polymer or epoxy mortar. Mapelastic AquaDefense can be flood-tested after 12 hours of drying time, is IAPMO-listed for use as a shower-pan liner, and exceeds ANSI A118.10 and ANSI A118.12 standards.
PRIMER T
Primer T is a low-VOC, magenta-colored, water-based acrylic primer that enhances the performance and adhesion of self-leveling underlayments (SLUs) on nonporous and porous substrates. Suitable for a wide variety of substrates, Primer T combines excellent versatility with easy, low-odor application.

Manufactured Stone Veneer Systems
MAPEI offers the best and most complete systems of installation products for a large variety of manufactured stone veneer (MSV), natural stone veneer and thin-brick siding projects. For interior or exterior walls in residential or commercial building, craftsmen will appreciate the quality and performance of MAPEI’s MSVS products. MAPEI’s Manufactured Stone Veneer Systems (MSVS) line includes mortars that meet ANSI A118.4 and A118.15, with the superior performance necessary for foolproof installations. These mortars can be used in any climate from hot and humid areas in the Southeast… to Northern Canada where freeze/thaw resistance is important. MAPEI’s MSVS mortars are ideal setting-bed mortars and, because they don’t contribute to efflorescence, there are no efflorescence-related callbacks or customer frustrations. MAPELASTIC WRB
Liquid-Applied, Vapor-Permeable, Water-Resistive Barrier
Mapelastic WRB is a single-component, liquid-applied air- and water-resistive barrier for vertical, above-grade exterior walls. Mapelastic WRB minimizes risk of condensation in wall from water vapor diffusion, thus increasing wall durability and the comfort of the building occupants. The rapid-drying formula is rain-resistant within 30 minutes of application under ideal conditions defined as 50°F (10°C) and rising in direct sunlight. Mapelastic WRB is ICC-AC AC212 approved, is NFPA 285 compliant in various assemblies and has been evaluated by ABAA for common wall assemblies. Adhered manufactured stone veneer and thin-brick units may be directbonded to the membrane when using a polymer-modified mortar meeting ANSI A118.15 over suitable substrates such as concrete masonry units, poured concrete walls, stucco basecoat and cement backerboard.

Advanced Waterproofing and Vapor Retarder Membrane
Mapelastic WP is a premixed, liquid-rubber vapor retarder and quick-drying waterproofing membrane for installation under manufactured stone veneer units and thin brick. Mapelastic WP provides a thin, continuous barrier to protect substrates and building wall assemblies from water damage. Mapelastic WP dries after about 30 to 50 minutes and is then ready to receive any MAPEI polymer-modified mortar meeting or exceeding the ANSI A118.4 or A118.15 standard. Mapelastic WP itself exceeds ANSI A118.10 and A118.12 standards.

MAPEI’s Reinforcing Fabric is a strong, absorbent, flexible, alkali-resistant, polyester reinforcing fabric for optional use with MAPEI’s Mapelastic AquaDefense, Mapelastic WaterStop and Mapelastic Turbo membranes when installed under ceramic tile or stone on residential and commercial interior applications.
Reinforcing Fabric is ideal for use over substrate areas such as cracks, coves, corners and areas around drains when used with Mapelastic AquaDefense, Mapelastic WaterStop and Mapelastic Turbo. Reinforcing Fabric provides a durable, reliable barrier to water migration into adjacent areas. It can easily be cut to size with scissors or a razor knife, and it has excellent compatibility with all MAPEI cement- or epoxy-based grouts and mortars.

Butyl-Based, Sealing Tape for Use with MAPEI’s Bitumen-Based, Crack-Isolation Membranes
Mapetape BB is a butyl-based, waterproofing sealing tape for use with MAPEI peel-and-stick, crack-isolation membranes. Mapetape BB has an extremely aggressive grip and superior long-term adhesion, ensuring immediate sealing upon contact. It is reverse-rolled for easy, fast application. A clear release liner on one side allows for easy handling and dry-fitting. Mapetape BB is compatible with Mapeguard 2, Mapesonic 2, Mapesound 90 and Mapeguard CI membranes.
